Dance Auditions for Two New Productions at the Heraklion Cultural Conference Center

The Heraklion Cultural Conference Center announces a call for dance auditions for two new thematic productions of the 2025-2026 artistic season, under the artistic direction and choreography of Maria Kousouni.

ℹ️ The productions will take place on February 20 and 21, 2026, in collaboration with the Crete Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Municipality of Heraklion, and on March 29, 2026, featuring solo piano. The auditions will be held on Saturday and Sunday, November 1 and 2.

The audition is mainly for professional dancers trained in classical, neoclassical, and contemporary dance, but the Center also wishes to collaborate with and showcase the talents of younger dancers from Crete (ages 14-18) who have a good technical dance level.

This year’s two distinct dance productions are unique primarily in their musical collaborations. Each production conveys a special tone that ultimately defines the choreographic narrative structure, style, and artistic character of the creation, enriching the dimension of theatrical art as well as the range of the dancers as artists.
